Some people claims that they are older than their looks while others would insist that they look younger.

The new site how-old.net created by Microsoft claims to tell how old you look and even your gender by using the Azure services to analyze your facial features.

To use the site, you upload your picture with clear facial features and it will analyze the picture and give you an approximate date. The better the picture, the more accurate the estimated age, though facial expressions or lighting could influence the results.

The site may not accurately give your precise age but it is still fun to try it out with a friend. This is a demo site, so expect more features to enhance its accuracy in the future.

Microsoft is using the site to promote its cloud services albeit in an entertaining way. It uses the facial detection technology from “Project Oxford” to analyze and recognize the face, age and even gender of the user.
