Update on N-power Assessment Process, know your Test Date & Requirements

N-Power has enter the Assessment stage, in statement released by the Federal Government, candidates will be assessed in phases on different days based on their specific chosen programmes before the final selection.

The successful candidates for Npower training is out,

For quick search, just type in your phone number and you will be confirm. If your name is confirm, go to the next step below

Go to npvn.npower.gov.ng and sign in to update your profile information and bank details.

Username: Enter your email address (or phone number)
Password: Enter your surname (if it does not work, try any of your other names).

When you have successfully log in, Click on Account settings

Clicking on account settings will bring up two sections: Personal Information and Bank information

Each of these options has in front of them EDIT.

To add your bank account details, in front of bank information click on EDIT INFO

Then select your bank and add your account number. You need not add BVN again it’ll automatically bring it up.

Click on update.

Under this phase, applicants are to log in to the npower testing portal which serves as the npower Assessment Centre and fill in their phone numbers and surnames as contained in their original application, using their personal profile (which has been opened for every applicant).

If you had applied using the instructions in our earlier npower recruitment post and have gotten the acknowledgement, you will be contacted.

All candidates will be notified by SMS of their assessment the day before. Meanwhile the assessment has started (20th September) with those who applied for N-Teach.

500,000 successful applicants will be selected to participate in the 2-year volunteer N-Power Nigeria programme.

Applicants can only gain access to their profile for assessment as represented in the schedule which breaks down applicants in batches by the first letter in their surnames. See the schedule below after the guide.

Requirements for the N-Power Assessment 2016:

- Your Phone Number (the one submitted during registration)
- Your Surname
- Internet enabled device (PC or Phone) with enough MB, Click to get Night data plans for all networks for as low as N25.
- Chrome (preferred) or Firefox Browser (NOT Opera Mini)

Step By Step Guide to log in to n-power testing portal

1. Click here to enter the npower website

2. On the Npower website, click on “Testing Menu”

3. The log in page will open, put in your phone number and surname

4. If your log in is successful, your npower dashboard will open, you can confirm all your details here

5. To open the Assessment page, click on “Click here to start n-teach program”


6. Before you click on "Start Assessment", note that the test start timing immediately and it is 20 mins (no retry).

7. Next, click on “Click here to start n-teach assessment”. Confirm the dialog box and start your 20 mins assessment.


8. Once you are done with the assessment, click on “Finish Attempt”.

9. Then click on “Submit All” and “Finish”

It is simple verbal, quantitative, current affairs and computer appreciation questions.

Schedule for the Npower Assessment based on Surname

Based on the schedule, applicants for the N-Power Teach programme will be first in line, starting on Tuesday September 20, 2016 and applicants whose surnames fall between the alphabets V-Z (e.g. Venda, Wale, Xiaver, Yusuf, Zikora) should log in and take their assessments on the stipulated date.
